NOTE: This project is being offered by Caltech alum and will be conducted at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA.
This is an open-ended opportunity to work on one of several ongoing projects in our laboratory on emerging technologies intended for wholesale replacement of fossil fuel resources with renewable electricity
|Description:||SURF students will be expected to develop and execute an experimental research plan, which will likely involve some combination of solid-state synthesis, nano-characterization, electrochemical analysis, and device design.|

|Student Requirements:||experimental chemistry laboratory coursework; introductory-level undergraduate training in chemistry, physics, engineering; interest and experience in tinkering or building things; existing interest/knowledge in electrochemistry is a plus, but not required|
