Please remember:
- Students pursuing Amgen must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or students with DACA status.
- Students pursuing Amgen must complete the 10-week program from June 21 - August 25, 2023. Students must commit to these dates. No exceptions will be made.
- Accepted students must live in provided Caltech housing.

Background: | The Einstein Papers Project is currently doing research on Albert Einstein's first visit to Caltech in spring term 1931. | ||||||||
Description: | Newspaper and other research into Einstein's trip to the United States through the Panama Canal and finally to Long Beach to be a visiting scientist at Caltech in spring term 1931. The research involves many aspects of the visit, from his experiences in New York, Cuba, Panama, to his 10 weeks in Pasadena, his lectures and collaborations with physicists and astronomers, his visit to Mount Wilson, Hollywood, and Charlie Chaplin. | ||||||||
