Background: |
In a few years, the ESA / NASA Ariel / CASE mission will launch, surveying more than a thousand of exo-worlds in a span of a few years. Excalibur, the US Ariel / CASE pipeline generates and deliver intermediate and end-products, from raw data to atmospheric constraints, via the exoplanet spectrum. While some checks can be made with human intervention, the scale and schedule of Ariel / CASE target list does not allow for thorough checks for every single product of the Excalibur pipeline and every single desired metric attached to them.
|
Description: |
The successful candidate will design an Artificial Intelligence approach to solve for Excalibur data product quality supervision. They will create a new / modify the current capability, in compliance with the latest Python software updates, while having a full understanding of the science made out of each intermediate / end product.
