Students pursuing opportunities at JPL must be U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents.
Each AO indicates whether or not it is open to non-Caltech students. If an AO is NOT open to non-Caltech students, please DO NOT contact the mentor.

|Project:||Deep Space CubeSat Avionics Technology|

|Background:||Deep space cubeSat-based missions requires a low-SWaP rad-hardened capable avionics platform.|
|Description:||Student will work with the mentor and other team members to test a rad-hard avionics for deep space CubeSat missions. It will include the platform benchmarking, software BSP development and integration, FPGA firmware development and verification, test software design and implementation, and the system integration and document.|
|Student Requirements:||Good communication skills, self-motivation. Circuit analysis using PSpice. Python programming will be a plus. Embedded system development. Verilog FPGA development. Coursework: Standard coursework in EE/CE majors with the following emphasis: Circuit Analysis, Digital System Design, Programming Languages, Operating systems, Signals and Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Computer Networks, etc.|
