NOTE: This project is being offered by a Caltech alum and will be conducted at Washington University of St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri. Only Caltech students are eligible for this project.
Cell-free DNA is a liquid biopsy method for analyzing cancer (circulating tumor DNA).
|Description:||We are performing ultra-sensitive cell-fee DNA analysis to detect cancer early and detect minimal residual disease after treatment. The student will perform bioinformatics data analysis and coding.|
|Student Requirements:||Basic biology and computer science are recommended but not necessary.|
